Great site with a great selection of tools. Delighted with my purchase, very handy tool, brilliant quality.
Unfortunately the plane body had scratch marks on the bottom and was kot polished smooth.
The is no functional issue, it works for my tasks but the quality is definitely not comparable to Veritas planes.

2 mm thickness — enough rigidity to stand on its own.
Packaging: simple but well thought out.
The piece sits snug in the box with foam inside, and the outer cardboard is quite nice.
Only note: the tape that seals the two halves tears the outer layer of the cardboard when removed. It’s purely cosmetic, but a lower-tack tape would avoid that.
Only wish: a longer version would be useful.
Was a little difficult first to set up for depth, but then worked very well exactly to the required thickness.
