The Cursors are optional parts,not involved in the AS-24v3.
AS-24v3 adjustable square is mainly used for angle positioning and bench layout. It also has a dual head, with one half fixed at 90° to the blade while the other pivots.
Dual-head Design
The dual-head is made of anodized aluminum and one half of it can move freely to achieve accurate positioning of angles.
Replace the straight ruler and the protractor
Using the head with ruler can replace the same sized straight ruler. The angled head replaces a sliding bevel.
Cam Locking Structure
The locking mechanism is a cam which is used to fix the head and blade. It is convenient and very easy for everyone to operate.
Chromium Plated Ruler/Laser-etched Graduations
The surface of stainless steel ruler is chromium plated; using laser etching graduations, it isexact, easy to read, and very durable.
AS-24v3 Cursors
AS-24v3 cursor is used with the AS-24v3 Adjustable Square to make quick positioning marks on the workpiece. It can be fixed independently on the ruler for quick marking. Italso can be moved/removed freely when not in use.
The graduations are laser etched on the beveled surface
which will prevent as much parallax as possible.
A special groove design helps guide the tip of a pencil to mark reference points quickly and accurately.
Made of high strength anodized aluminum and processed with bead-blasting on the surface give an elegant texture of matte finishing.
