This upward tendency must be completely eliminated by adopting an appropriate working posture. It is particularly critical when the blade is tilted. If the material moves upwards while the blade is tilted, the material is almost always jammed at the cutting edge, which is not good.
DESCRIPTION
Use this pivoting hold-down device to fix workpieces to the table surface of your JMPv2. By tightening the knob, pressure is applied to both clamping jaws, fixing the workpiece and the clamp simultaneously. The swivel mechanism and swivel jaws provide the flexibility to hold a variety of workpieces - even non-flat parts - in a variety of positions.

and can be positioned anywhere along the slot.
