It is the crucial aspect for repeatable results. As the saw cuts from bottom to top, you must fight against negative feed, i.e. the tendency of the board to move upwards against the cut. This upward tendency must be completely eliminated by adopting an appropriate working posture. It is particularly critical when the cutting edge is tilted; if the material moves upwards while the cutting edge is tilted, the material is almost always jammed against the cutting edge, which is not good.
DESCRIPTION
The possibilities of the precision fence system grow with the available accessories, the most important of which is the tenon miter fixture.The tenon miter fixture attaches to the Jointmaker Pro precision fence and allows you to cut tenon cheeks and miters quickly and accurately. As the device is mounted on the precision fence, you can use the fine adjustment of the fence to optimize your settings.
The main fence of the device can be swiveled from 0° (horizontal) to 90° (vertical), i.e. you can cut many miters at any angle without swiveling the cutting edge.
You can even cut compound bevels by tilting both the fence and the material. The included friction-fit C-clamp holds material up to 50mm( 2") square to the fence for accuracy.
