KM-1/KM-2 Kerfmakers
Since ancient times, the mortise and tenon joint has been one of the most classical jointing methods in woodworking. For effciency and accuracy the mortise is made before tenon. Also, to avoid a loose fit, the width of kerf and tenon need to be carefully measured and marked by hand, which is complicated and errors can easily occur. Needless to say, aperfect fit is diffcult to control.
The KM-1 and KM-2 can avoid the above problem. There is no need to comply with the order of assembly.Additionally, the measurement of kerf, mortise, and tenon are unnecessary. What you need to do is position the two sliders, and then the precisely fitted joints can be made in three steps.
KM-1 Kerfmaker
The KM-1 Kerfmaker is an ingenious little tool that makes sizing grooves and dado cuts painlessly easy. It is unbelievably fast and accurate. With this KM-1, you can make cross laps and other joints with stock up to 52 mm in width, and it can also be used with a dado head and calibrated to any kerf size up to 13 mm in width.
KM-2 Kerfmaker
The KM-2 Kerfmaker will allow you to make cross laps and other joints with stock up to 100 mm in width. With a wider capacity, you can now use the KM-2 with a dado head and it can be calibrated to any kerf size up to 25 mm in width.
The magnets embedded in theend of the two reference pointsfirmly hold the KM-2 in place.The magnets also allow you to stickthe KM-2 and the red magnetic reference stop, directly to your saw. lt can be used with the redreference stop either in the vertical or horizontal position.
Easy Operation
The KM-1 consists of one block, two sliders and two locking knobs; while the KM-2 hasan extra red magnetic reference stop. Once you confirm the tenon or width of the block, aprecise groove can be made by three steps.

Step 1 Confirm the width of kerf
Confirm the width of the blade kerf by using the distance between orange sliders and blocks.
Step 2 Confirm the width of tenon
Confirm the width of the tenon, put the tenon between block and slider and set the width of tenon by clamping tightly.
Step 3 Cutting
Cut successively by using the orange slider and the block against the fence as a flip stop to achieve a precise groove.

The KM-1 and KM-2 are made from anodized aluminum and finished by glass bead blasting,
which makes them not only have good anti-friction and high hardness but also the exquisite appearance of matte finishing.
