John Economaki began designing and making custom furniture in the 1970s after working briefly as a woodworking teacher in Portland, Oregon. After contracting pneumonia due to an allergic reaction to wood dust, John transitioned from building furniture to designing and manufacturing heirloom tools that combine functionality and aesthetics.
Precision stop bracket with special functions

The first tool designed and produced by John was the precision stop square in 1983, simply out of frustration with the inaccurate angled stop angles available on the market at the time, and so his company Bridge City Tool Works was formed. The precision stop square became the cornerstone of the newly founded company.

The handle of the precision stop bracket is stable and can be calibrated

The handle consists of two parts that are mirror images of each other and, when screwed together, form a secure foundation for the stainless steel ruler unit. If the precision stop angle should ever fall off or no longer be at a right angle, it can be recalibrated by loosening four screws, placing the angle against a 90°/270° angle end measure for reference and then tightening the four screws again.
The handle is ergonomically designed

The ergonomic design of the handle makes the precision stop bracket easy for operators to grip and hold.
Avoids deformed corners of the ruler when dropped

Radii minimize possible deformations at the corners and edges of the ruler due to falling.
Anodized aluminum makes a great matte finish

The surface of the precision stop bracket has a matt finish that is beautiful and easy to maintain. One side of the handle is dark gray, the other side is silver.
The trim inside the handle is orange. The anodized aluminium alloy is rust and wear resistant and offers excellent hardness and durability.
Skin-fat-repellent surface finish/fingerprints belong to the

The stainless ruler is finished with a special PVD coating (physical vapor deposition), which results in a very attractive, decorative surface with high corrosion and wear resistance. The surface of the ruler can be marked with a pencil and just as easily wiped clean again without leaving any residue.
Laser-engraved scales of the TS-2V2

The ruler unit of the TS-2v2 is equipped with laser-engraved, easy-to-read scales (available in metric and imperial versions). The metric scale has a measuring range of 200 mm on the outside and 150 mm on the inside. The measuring range of the imperial scale is 8"
on the outside and 6" on the inside, each in 1/32 pitch.

The two basic scale references on the respective ruler sides of the TS-2v2 offer countless possibilities for a wide range of measurement and layout requirements.
Classic 8:1 template for the layout creation of dovetail fits

The rulers in our precision stop bracket series are each equipped with
with an 8:1 inclination template, which enables the precise design of the
of dovetail joints.
SPECIFICATIONS
The precision angle is available in three sizes and offers the ideal size for the right task: TS-1v2, TS-1.5v2, TS-2v2.

Accuracy

The maximum form deviation of the ruler with regard to straightness is 0.02 mm.
The maximum deviation of the laser engraving / scale division on the ruler is 0.04 mm / 200 mm.
The maximum deviation of the perpendicularity compared to the angle gauge block is 0.05°. This corresponds to 3' (angular minutes).
